Test Automation Engineer role responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts across UI, API, regression, and integration layers. The role involves analyzing manual test cases, automating scenarios using tools like Selenium, Appium, REST-assured, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.

Обязанности

Design, develop, execute, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts across UI, API, regression, and integration layers
Analyse manual test cases and business flows to identify automation feasibility, priority and complexity
Automate UI, API, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end business scenarios using tools such as Selenium, Appium, REST-assured, Postman, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Maven, Git
Design and develop reusable, modular, maintainable, and data-driven automation scripts
Create and manage test data, parameterization, reusable libraries, page objects, utilities
Execute automated test suites, analyse failures, identify script defects versus application defects
Maintain automation code in a version-controlled repository and follow coding standards, peer review
Prepare automation execution reports, defect links, screenshots, logs, script handover notes

Требования

Experience in test automation for web, API, mobile, or enterprise applications
Experience in API automation using REST-assured, Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools
Good knowledge of framework design patterns such as Page Object Model, data-driven testing, keyword-driven testing
Working knowledge of SQL, test data handling, backend validation, debugging, exception handling
Experience with Agile teams, sprint-based automation, regression pack maintenance, and automation reporting dashboards
Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, Cucumber/BDD, TestNG/JUnit, Maven, Git, and CI/CD integration
Ability to analyse manual test cases and business flows to identify automation feasibility
Experience with integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Maven, Git
